Scope of the symposium

Dear colleagues,

It is a real pleasure to welcome all of you in early summer in the beautiful “pink city”, as we call Toulouse in France, for what we hope will be a fruitful and unforgettable 38th edition of the International Electric Propulsion Conference. We have done our utmost to make this edition as successful as possible.

As you all know, the IEPC is a well-established and not to be missed event in the field of spacecraft Electric Propulsion for companies, startups, space agencies, engineers, researchers, academics and PhD students.
With more than 700 attendees, the IEPC 2024 will certainly offer a rich and diverse technical program covering a broad range of topics from thruster physics and development to testing, qualification and operating experience. The IEPC 2024 will with no doubt be the perfect place for exchanging on latest outcomes, needs, trends and challenges to prepare the future of propulsion and space missions and to transfer knowledge to the next generation of actors.
Naturally the conference will also include informative and educational events with renown speakers as well as wonderful social events, in particular the visit to the medieval city of Carcassonne.

Finally, we would like to thank all those who helped us in one way or another, as well as the many sponsors who supported this event and without whom it would have been on a smaller scale. Many thanks to all.

Make the most of the conference and enjoy Toulouse and the surrounding area.
